Pat Mcgrath is a famous British makeup artist who is the makeup director of the Givenchy Spring 2010 Paris Couture's makeup. I love these makeup looks done by Pat Mcgrath because the pale complexion stands out even more the bright red lips and also the gothic smokey eyes on the models which makes the whole look more chic and stylish. The models' eye brows were dyed into a blonde colour and it makes the brows invisible under the pale skin tones. I like how McGrath makes the smokey eyes more unique as she has blended the grey and blue glitter eye shadow together and turns into an exaggerated smokey eyes look. The sparkling effects on the eyes also give a glam and more powerful appearance. The way McGrath dyed the models' brows blonde and worked on the lips shapes which makes the look more modern as well. These makeup looks link to the Elizabethans as the pale complexion, red lips, invisible eyebrows are seen and also the use of the colour black because it symbolize nobility during the Elizabethan era.
